Use your imagination and dress this pl= an up with newer products and a better looking format than how it is written here. You can use 4x6 photo paper (glossy) as cards (customer will love product quality) and put ‘recipes,’ ‘how to fix it,’ ‘money info,’ etc., on the cards and stuff inside an envelope (sealed). Set a stack of 10 envelopes in a box made for that size envelope,= on the counters of convenience stores and gas stations all around town. Put your product ad on the front o= f the envelope (made and printed from your computer) and make one of 2 deals with= the manager/owners:

1. You should be into each envelope $= 1.50 or less (or increase your wholesale and retail prices accordingly). Sell a box of 10 envelopes (marked= $4.99 each) to the mgr/owner for $30.00. (clean sale) = You make $15.00 a box profit he/she makes $20. Be sure to keep a list of where = you sell them. Check back and replenish once a week or so. Be regular. Give a proper receipt.

2. If the mgr/owner balks at the above= , tell him/her you will leave the box and be back in a week to check on it. For any envelopes taken or torn he= /she pays $3.00. Make a contract (= preferably a stamp you can stamp your receipt book with-your page & theirs) and bo= th of you sign and date it. Come= back in one week and collect your money. Be nice (no matter how many sold), buy a soda or coffee (even if you don’t want one), and keep him/her as a customer.

P.S.&= nbsp; Friends, family, and the internet are very helpful here. If you have a friend or family mem= ber who is a great cook or has a lot of good ‘quick fix it’ ideas o= ffer them $5.00 for an idea and if they want, you’ll put their name (maybe just 1^st name) on the recipe or quick fix idea. People love recognition and being = part of something. If a good cook = or handyman wants to advertise through your business have them give you their recipe or fix it, etc., and put their ad on ½ of the card. Charge th= em $5.00 for the ad. Also, chang= e your products in the envelope often. Encourage your advertisers to post new prod= ucts and charge the $5.00 rate again. Put a different ad on the front of the envelope (you can date the fr= ont of the envelope so people know it a different one than the last) and even p= ut BONUS on it and give away an awesome idea on a card marked BONUS! ! every 3^rd (+/-) change of products. EYEGLASS CLEANER - Mix together 8 oz. ammonia and 32 oz.

denatured alcohol. If you wish to sell = the product, it can be

put in 1/2 oz. bottles and retailed for $1.00. MOSQUITO REPELLENT

- Mix oil of citronella in common vaseline and apply to hands or

on collar of shirt or on a cloth or handkerchief w= hich may be

tied around the neck.

LIQUID SOAP - Shave 2 cakes of laundry soap into= 2 gallons of

boiling water, add one box sal soda (2 1/2 lbs). Reduce heat

but do not remove from fire until sal soda is dissolved.

When cool, add one cup of household ammonia. When this

solution has cooled you will have about 2 1/2 gallons of= good

liquid soap.

LIQUID HAND SOAP - Dissolve any good powdered so= ap in boiling

water. Add one part alcohol to each 4 par= ts of soap solution.

Perfume base or scent may be added it desired wh= en the

solution is cooled.

POWDERED HAND SOAP - Put ordinary trisodium phosphate in

sifter or mix 7 oz. of trisodium<= /span> phosphate in sifter with 3 oz.

of fine powdered pumice.

INSECT AND ROACH EXTERMINATOR - Mix the followin= g: 1 oz. cocoa

powder, 1 lb. Borax, 6 oz. powdered sugar, 2 oz. sodium fluoride. <= /p>

Mix well and sprinkle around the areas where ins= ects frequent.

ATHLETES FOOT REMEDY - Mix 4 oz. Borax with a ga= llon of water. <= /p>

Helps get rid of sores on feet as well. This remedy of for use =

on feet only.

LIQUID TERMITE KILLER - Dissolve 2 lbs. of Paradichlorbenzine

into 1 gallon of water. Spray or brush on the areas where =

termites enter.

WINDSHIELD CLEANER - Mix together 3 parts Glycerine, 1 part

Alcohol and 2 parts water. S= hake well. This formula also =

COCKROACH KILLER - Mix together equal parts of P= laster of

To put this plan into operation it is necessary, of course, to

advertise the $1.00 plan. This can be d= one by placing the

suggested ad in the classified sections of publications with

inexpensive rates--such as mail order ad sheets or

when your budget allows for greater or wider promotion, you

can place ads in the business opportunity and money-making

Use a small car if available.&n= bsp; Choose an area of town where there are a lot of mom & pop grocery stores and mini-marts, and any kind of gas stations. Go up one side of the street and d= own the other stopping at each place. You are building a route. Every one of th= ese businesses use ‘vendors.’ Sales/delivery= people who bring the bread, soda, candy bars and most everything else to the store= to sell, so it can make money. The items around the cash register are called ‘impulse purchase items’ and are there to catch the eye of the buyer and offer him/her = the opportunity to buy something unique and desirable they don’t often get an opportu= nity to buy. This is your market. You want your (simple white folding) box that = you can buy at walmart, or an office supply store in packs usually for less than a couple bucks, sitting right here with your colored front label envelope packs where people will see them, be curious, = and buy one. Choose a different h= igh traffic area of town where you can sell your product to the store. If you have three areas of town th= at you have developed (keep names and addresses of stores), and work one area each= on Monday Wednesday and Friday. I you sell 10 boxes each of the 3 days, you have made $450 for the week. I you spend $150 dollars on fuel a= nd product (way to much but using that figure for an example), you have made $= 300 you didn’t have. If you have 30 stores on each route and you spend 4 hours a day 3 times a week servicing them, you have grossed $37.50 an hour ($450), and netted $25.00 an hour at a net of $300. The business is worth working. You can also mail order and get creative for more money. GO FOR IT!!!

The statement 100 letters a day, each containing $1.00 is,

of course, rather ambiguous. The= re is no scientific method

to assure an exact figure for mail order sales or profits.

It depends on many factors, such as the amount of advertising

or promotion you put forth, and the percentage of orders

you receive from this effort. $10= 0 per day is surely possible;

it could even be a lot more.

As mentioned before, this plan is about as sure fire as

anything devised for sale through the mail. It requires very

little investment and is simple and convenient to operate.

It is probably the easiest method for an individual to start

a= mail order business and gain experience in this field. And,

to emphasize an earlier statement, this is an ideal program

to obtain prospect names for other offers.
