A Word Of Life From Pastor Rob

Perhaps the most common and ultimate hindrance to our walk of faith is not understanding the exact meaning of the words God spoke in scripture. Culturally, the way Americans perceive and accept input is totally different than the way God shows us through the Hebrew culture how He wants us to perceive and accept input.

In America, when an authority figure (like a bible teacher or a pastor) tells us about a �Thou Shalt� or a �Thou Shalt Not,� we automatically think because we heard it, we know it and understand it. We come to a psychological acceptance of the input as fact (something that can be proven true or false) and then we ponder on the information using personally formulated and sanctioned criteria to make a judgment.

Soon, without personally experiencing the reality of the input firsthand, we decide whether we like the input or dislike it, then we judge it valid or invalid as to being pertinent to us and as to whether or not we�re going to put it into effect in our lives. Frequently, we choose to �know� it as information, but choose to disavow it as Divine Truth.

We sit in judgment of God and His Word by being our own god.

It is with great joy that I welcome you to my church ministry website.

Faith Harvest Church is currently an internet based church which was created out of my 30 years of missionary and evangelical journeys through Mexico, Central America, the Carabbean Islands, the Bahamas, England, Canada, and the United States. As the Senior Chaplain and CEO of Life On Faith Ministries and Melchizedek Ministries, I have traveled extensively preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, setting up churches, training pastors and teaching bible studies for 29 years. I started in ministry when I was 26 years old. On December 12, 2010, I was 56 and it is 30 full, wonderful, tough, exciting and busy years I have been in service to the Lord.

I currently minister to over 45 churches, pastors, ministers, and ministries in 17 different countries and multiple states.

South America is now promently fixed on my prospective missionary/evangelical calendar.

God willing, I plan to journey there sometime in the year 2011.The Mexican and Central American peoples have been so wonderful and receptive to the Word of God that I am extremely excited about the prospect of teacing Jesus and setting up churches and schools in South America.

My plan for the next missionary journey is to acquire a sailboat to live on while I travel and teach Jesus to Mexico, Central and South America. I am currenty reading, studying and asking a lot of questions about sailboats. I have captained and navigated powerboats on the 'Big Blue' off and on for 36 years, but I have never learned to sail a sailboat. After the acquisition, I will name the boat 'Faith' as I had once named my motorhome. Hence the missionary works named 'Life on Faith'. I will be putting up 2 new pages titled 'Captain's Log' and 'The Search' to keep you up to date with the acquisition and journey!
